I was just now cleaning up some loose papers around my desk and found a note
that I'd taken about my dad's memory for names of TV shows. I remember these
both happened in one day, and I wrote them down so I wouldn't forget them:
1) I asked what was the obnoxiously loud show coming on TV, and he said,
"America Thinks You've Got Talent"...
2) Later he told me that he saw a commercial for a movie called "The
Early Midnight" -- I knew that didn't sound right, so I said, "You
mean 'The Dark Knight'?" -- He replied, "No, I don't think it's
on TV tonight"...
